Bremen Doctoral Researcher Symposium in Marine Sciences

During the past two days, the Bremen International Graduate School for Marine Sciences (GLOMAR) hosts their Doctoral Researcher Symposium in Marine Sciences for the seventeenth time. 23 doctoral researchers from MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences of the University of Bremen and Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) discussed their research in oral and poster presentations, learned about Al tools for scientific research and writing and used the time for networking and socializing.

 

The program of the Bremen Doctoral Researcher Symposium on Marine Sciences 2025 was organized by the Early Career Researchers support teams of MARUM and ZMT in cooperation with the current doctoral researcher representatives for MARUM, GLOMAR and ZMT.

The Bremen International Graduate School for Marine Sciences, GLOMAR, hosts doctoral researchers from MARUM and its cooperating institutions who aim to obtain a doctorate at a university in Bremen. GLOMAR serves as a central platform for interdisciplinary training for doctoral researchers in marine sciences at the University of Bremen and its partner institutions.
