From Ridges to Flankes to Margins - lithosphere dynamics and connections to global environmental change is the title of this year’s ECORD Summer School. 18 young scientists from six countries meet at MARUM between September 2 and 13. In addition to the technical focus, the focus is also on the work processes in international ocean drilling programs, for example IODP (International Ocean Discovery Program). The participants will be prepared for possible participation in drilling expeditions and projects utilizing drilling core material.
