Our Infrastructure

State-of-the-art technologies play an enormously important role in marine research. At MARUM, such technological solutions are not only used, but also developed.

MARUM is home to the Bremen core repository, consisting of the core collection of the international scientific ocean drilling programs (DSDP, ODP, IODP) and the MARUM-GeoB core collection.

The laboratory infrastructure at MARUM offers measuring and analysis equipment for the investigation of marine sediments.
