Main Research Areas

Our current research focuses on six subjmain research areas in which MARUM scientists are involved in or responsible for national and international research projects.

Research at MARUM takes place in a variety of very different, predominantly scientific and technical subject areas, all of which are linked to each other through their marine relevance. Social science and legal aspects are also also included.
