MARUM Research Academy

MARUM is an internationally recognised research centre that attracts a diverse community of scientists from around the world. Around half of our doctoral and postdoctoral researchers come from outside Germany, and many of our team members have an international background.
We regularly welcome long- and short-term guest researchers, who benefit from our cutting-edge research environment and the opportunity to engage with our vibrant scientific community. MARUM, in turn, thrives on the fresh perspectives and expertise that our guests bring, which enrich our collective efforts to advance marine research.

All guest researchers have access to the comprehensive support programme offered by the MARUM Research Academy, for example expert and transferable skills courses or German classes.
