The Research Academy is your point of contact for all questions, concerns and problems relating to your working environment and your personal and professional development.
Counselling

Coaching
Unlike traditional counselling, where the counsellor imparts knowledge and offers advice, coaching focuses more on self-assessment and self-competence, encouraging the utilisation of existing resources.
Coaching supports you through growth and change. This can include conflict resolution, self- and time management, and leadership.
We have a professionally trained systemic coach at MARUM whom you can contact anytime. If you prefer an external coach, the MARUM Research Academy can help you find one. Postdoctoral researchers at the University of Bremen can also benefit from coaching offers facilitated by BYRD.
All coaches guarantee confidentiality, regardless of your request.
